Here in Loot 4 Less vol. 6: Cloaks and Daggers we're looking at bargain-bin capes and knives that most characters may find useful. Not only do we provide each item with a full description and cost, we've scattered sidebars throughout the book to explain those costs. Each "Behind the Counter" sidebar explains how a price was determined, allowing GMs to apply that logic to other abilities and use firm knowledge of where the numbers came from if the needs of their particular campaign require changing the prices.

Welcome to the sixth book in the Loot 4 Less line, where we deal exclusively in items with a cost-to-consumer of 2,500 gp or less. That's right, no epic artifacts, cloaks of invisibility, +3 keen vermin bane daggers of orc detection, or even moderate magic items here. This is a forum for the cheapest of the cheap and that's it. And just to up the level of difficulty, we also don't deal in one-shot (or even two- or three-shot) magic items. No scrolls, potions, talismans, or fire-and-forget tattoo magics here. Everything in these pages is a legitimate permanent magic item, free of consumable charges, and able to be used in adventure after adventure.
Price: $2.99The Monster Recognition Manuals are a series of premade monsters that come with paper cutouts to be used with our Toy Battle System games.
Included in this manual is a record sheet, a quick reference sheet (including a new power), and two different sized cutouts of Pyronopsis to be used in games of Giant Monster Rampage.
The cutouts are in color. The larger one is approximately 6" and the smaller one is approximately 3".
To use the cutouts simply cut out the two halves and fold the half circles so that they are perpendicualr to the monster with the artwork facing up. Then glue the two halves together. Once complete you should have a free standing paper miniature on a circular base.

Dark ambience. Terrifying sounds. Spine-tingling melodies. This is Horrific Universe!
The Last Show on Earth by Stratos is song 7 of 12 from Horrific Universe: 12 Months of Horror (Bailey Records, 2010).
"When we were conceptualizing this project, I asked several people what types of things terrified them, or more specifically what genres within 'horror' did they find frightening. One of the top answers was: clowns and/or funhouses, carnivals, creepy circuses, etc. This got me thinking... why not release a horrific carousel-gone-wrong song? After many months of writing and re-writing, The Last Show on Earth was fully conceived. In a way it reminds me of something you might hear in the original Scooby-Doo cartoons (the good ones from the early 70s); but maybe a bit darker. I hope everyone takes the time to give this song a listen." - Stratos
Horrific Universe: 12 Months of Horror features dark ambience, terrifying sounds, and spine-tingling melodies inspired by countless sources of horror media. The Last Show on Earth, as with the majority of songs on the album, is designed to be generic for use with any horror medium. Horrific Universe: 12 Months of Horror is part of the Horrific Universe catalog (dark ambience / horror music) of Bailey Records Composition and Sound Design. Additional Horrific Universe catalog releases include Deterioration Furthers, Songs From and Inspired by The Charnel Gospel (Bailey Records, May 4, 2004).

Back in 1978 the second sci-fi RPG ever to be published was released by Fantasy Games Unlimited, Starships & Spacemen, by Leonard H. Kanterman. Inspired by many sci-fi influences, Starships & Spacemen trekked new ground. You could play a Tauran with a machine-like, logical mind, and adventure in space hunting for alien treasures on unexplored worlds. You might face the aggressive Videni who resembled Taurans in appearance, but not intentions. Against that backdrop one might reach an uneasy truce with the militant Zangids.
Fast forward 32 years later. Goblinoid Games has purchased the Starships & Spacemen property, and plans to continue these classic voyages today and into the future!
Join us as we carry out missions in the final frontier. Explore exotic new worlds and make contact with alien civilizations!
These are the original 1978 rules, published with an appendix of erratta and expansion material that originally appeared in Different Worlds Magazine.
